UAE set to launch fully unified and digital healthcare licensing by 2026
UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) aims to launch a National Unified Digital Platform by Q2 2026 to simplify healthcare professional licensing across the country. The National Unified Health Licensing Platform will serve as a centralized gateway for 200,000+ healthcare professionals annually – helping them apply for licenses without navigating multiple systems.
 
UAE property market soars to USD 87bn; luxury sales drive records
Driven by robust demand from domestic and international buyers, the UAE’s real estate sector showcases strong upward momentum, recording more than 96,000 property transactions in the first half of 2025 worth a total of AED322bn (USD 87bn). 
 
MoHRE processes 18mn smart transactions, strengthening digital transformation
As UAE strengthens its stance in digital transformation, the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) processed more than 18m smart transactions in the first half of 2025. These figures are indicative of MoHRE’s robust digital platforms.
 
UAE establishes itself as a top destination for remote workers & digital nomads
As per an industry index on Digital Nomad Visa, UAE ranks as the second most attractive destination for digital nomads in 2025. The UAE surged from the 4th place in 2023, highlighting better amenities, a long-term national strategy focused on remote work, innovation, and infrastructure in the country. 
 
Dubai construction inspections surge 36% in 2025
Bolstering safety, compliance and green building across Dubai, the Dubai Municipality completed 25,000+ field inspections in the first half of 2025 — marking 36% jump compared to H1 2024. The inspections covered more than 18,800 active construction sites with a combined built-up area of more than 36 million square metres, up 11% year-on-year.
 
UAE and Finland sign MoU to strengthen ties in meteorology and polar research
Aimed at accelerating international collaboration, top officials from UAE joined forces with President of the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) and key officials from Finland to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) advancing cooperation in meteorology and polar research. This move sets out strengthen institutional collaboration and amplify focus on the exchange of expertise and best practices in meteorological operations and polar studies.
 
3.6m passengers to head to Dubai International in August 2025
Between August 13th to August 25th Dubai International Airport is likely to witness a major passenger surge with over 3.6mn travellers expected to return from summer holidays. Daily traffic expected to average 280,000 passengers, with the busiest day likely to be Friday, August 15, when numbers are expected to exceed 290,000.
 
Dubai economy grows 4% to AED 119.7 bn in Q1 2025
Highlighting Dubai’s economic resilience and sectoral diversity, the emirate’s economy expanded to AED 119.7bn in Q1 2025. The real estate sector in the emirate surged 7.8% to AED 9bn cementing its position as a key economic pillar while financial and insurance activities rose 5.9% to AED 16bn.
 
Sharjah real estate transactions pass USD 2bn in July 2025
As per the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, the emirate’s real estate market reported its highest monthly transaction value of 2025 in July, with total deals reaching AED7.5bn (USD2.04bn) across 11,377 transactions. Sale transactions during July covered 114 distinct areas across the emirate, reinforcing broad distribution of buyer demand.
